Moon Rise Time Today

All religions in world have some cultural factions and these functions have some values in worshiper’s minds. In Hindus culture and religion Today is karwa chauth. Basically in this event married women take fast till moon rise. The women took this fast for their husband’s long lives and prosperity. Karwa means clay pot and Chauth means fourth night of moon after full moon. On this day Hindu women cook some special food refers to the event. Hindu women wear new clothes and jewellery, whole day they worship to their god for their husbands. This event is mostly practice in the Northern areas of the India. This fast is break up on night when moon rises, married women seeing the moon and offer prayer to the moon for their hubbies and then takes the first bite of meal and water from their hobbies hands. It is the believe of the Hindu`s married women that by doing this their hubbies can get long lives.
This is more awaited festival especially for the North Indian people. In some recent it was watched that karva chauth event was celebrated by women in full spirit. They gather in the form of team and went to the holy places to offer their prayer to their gods and then went to their neighbor’s homes if they held some puja`s (prayers). Husbands give some sort of gift to their wives while giving them first meal of the day from his own hands.
Anupama a young lady from north India tell about her first kava chauth she took for his hubby and said about that,
This is my first Karva Chauth. My mother-in-law insisted it should be a grand affair. So all of yesterday we were shopping and got henna designs done at Lajpat Nagar Market.
