Oral Roberts

Oral Roberts Oral Roberts was a great Christian leader, born in January 24, 1918 and died in California, America at the age of 91 because of disease pneumonia. He was also a scholar, preacher and was well known in various television programs. He made a foundation that provides a lot of information about the Bible. Robert got fame from his very early age. At the age of 17, he prayed for a man and he got rid of his disease.

He said that God has told him to establish a university. So he set up Oral Roberts University in the region Tulsa in 1963. He traveled a lot of territories and has worked in various television shows. He met many people during his journey and earns a great fame in this way. He told the people, the real teachings of God.

His doctrines the philosophy of mercy and that God is good and wants from his people health and prosperity. Before his preaching, there was a concept of punishment which he denied with his pleas. Auburn University history professor David Advin said that he has an important role of presenting the better concepts of Christianity. Harrell said: “Oral was a pioneer in opening this whole message up to the mainstream churches and leading a generation of Pentecostals into easier connection with the evangelical world,” Robert believed on the philosophy of “Seed-Faith”, which teaches that if we give some thing to God, he will return us in a well way.

About his personality, giving his remarks Graham said: “Oral Roberts was a man of God and a great friend in ministry. I loved him as a brother.”
